Built in the 11th century, the Abbaye de Boscodon has survived the vicissitudes of war down through the centuries and emerged as a fantastic place for a visit. The restoration work to buildings that were damaged is fantastic, right down to details like the wooden guttering on the dormitory.
The church is stunning: solid and austere, it wasn't damaged when pretty well all else was destroyed. There are also some good walks to do in the area. If you're on holiday anywhere near Embrun this place is well worth a visit.

If you like historical sites and churches, you will love this place. Its steeped in history and very well preserved inside and out. The Church Organ was spectacular! If your in Embrun, its worth a visit

Nice Aqua Park just one piece of advise: buy or hire a wet suit for the little ones as the water temperature seldom exceeds 21C in the summer. Very friendly staff

Cette tour carré en impose par sa forme et sa taille, qui lui permettent de dominer toute la région. Elle offre un bel exemple de symbiose entre histoire et monde contemporain, grâce à la maison du parc des Ecrins qu'elle accueille. De son sommet, la vue est imprenable.
