I don't know if I can put into words how much I love this place. They have great areas for parties or just a great sized bar area to get together with friends. The slushies are fantastic and I would give them a "you've GOT TO try these". Their wood fire pizzas are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The grounds are amazing and the sunset a photo must-have. It would be a wonderful, beautiful place for a wedding, family reunion, crafting get together. I was there with a crafting group, but will definitely make the 1 1/2 hour trip to take my husband.

Scott County Park

We were just passing through and only stayed for one night. It wasn't far from the interstate, nice quiet area. The front office was quiet and helpful. Parking our RV was easy, back in site. There was lots of grassy area with dog walking access. We were off season, so the grounds were quiet. Large heated restrooms, though I wasn't comfortable showering in them when you can't lock the door (no code access device either). Otherwise, clean and nice. Easy in, easy out.

Buffalo Bill Cody Homestead

Reviewed By Daniel B - Cedar Rapids

Having never before seen this place I took it upon myself for a much needed history lesson. I had NO idea that Buffalo Bill Cody was born in Iowa. Who knew? I should have called ahead to officially visit this spot. But I was out doing what I love to do that day: hiking and getting wet or bit up by bugs. Okay, I don't enjoy that part. But I was surprised to find that this place allows people to visit between 9 to 5pm. I arrived at 545pm. Much too late to be allowed inside but was allowed to walk around and snap a few pix here and there. I was delighted to see an actual bison in a pen nearby. Seems they raise them here to go with the property theme. I would spend an hour or so here. They do offer a gift shop; picnic area; pit toilet; drinking water; it is a historic site and the boyhood home of Issac Cody Buffalo Bill. The home was built in 1847. There is a neighboring home adjacent to the property to help keep an eye on things. There is a nice gravel road and a huge sign leading to the property from nearby Princeton, Iowa. Look for the signs.Because I found my way there after hours I was not charged a fee to walk around. There is a small fee to tour the inside. You are provided with a guide as well. Some of the house is NOT handicapped accessible.
Plenty of parking is available. In my opinion, this place is well worth a look-see.

We needed a place to blow off some energy during our visit to Davenport. Helium was the perfect place for everyone. It was large enough to put some space between our 4-year-old to the teens. I recommend filling out the waiver online before arriving. You need to wear their socks on the trampolines. I would also recommend a locker, only $3 but since you cannot see the open storage shelves from the trampolines, $3 was a bargain. The food was good, they make the pizza to order. Place your order about 15 minutes before your jump time is over. The young staff was friendly, we will definitely stop in next time we are in town.

Excellent place for families to hang out. You can rent a boat for $20/hr and go fishing etc. Nice view of the Mississippi River. The employees were friendly especially Morgan. She told us so much about the turtles and fish that they have inside the building. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
