Wild Water Adventure Park

My wife and I loved this place. Rural setting, plenty of various slides and settings. Check out their website to know more. No long lines on a Monday and we heard Tuesday is even better. The staff was amazingly friendly. Reasonably priced parking and food. Terrific areas for groups and families. This is a good a time as you can have in the central valley other than National Parks. Also check it on Google Earth

Dan Rouit's Flat Track Museum

Reviewed By vintagetrailer - Helena, MT

This place is the life work of a great couple. They live in one of the high interest areas for motorcylce racing and lots of flat track racers of national repute have come from central and southern CA.

Dan has collected an amazing amount of machines and memorabilia and lots of personal knowledge about it all.

He even has a national championship trophy that was thrown in the trash by Kenny Roberts, a most famous national and international racer and owner originally from Modesto.

This is not a big buck, corporate type museum but is the result of so much hard work by the Rouits. You can just tell how much they care. And the racing community treasures them for it.

Call ahead for hours of operation or Danny may just open up for you.

Clovis Botanical Garden

I love to do floral photography, and Clovis Botanical Garden was bursting with flowers in May. The park itself is small, but holds a lot of interesting specimens. There is no admission fee, only a jar for donations in the small shop at the entrance.
