The 6 Best Things to do Good for Big Groups in Batu Ferringhi, Penang

February 26, 2022 Timmy Ribble

The beaches are a huge draw, but there’s so much more to do in this Malaysian hotspot. Frolic with the delicate residents of a butterfly farm, then explore the fragrant landscape of tropical spice garden and fruit farms. The massive collection of dolls, games and models at the Toy Museum brings joy to kids and kids at heart. Save some energy for the Night Market, a lively scene of stalls where good-natured bargaining skills come in handy.

The TeddyVille Museum is also the abode of Mini Penang, where miniature bears are dressed and placed in small sets that represent the many attractions that Penang has to offer. Tropical Fruit Farm

The fruit garden is truly amazing. A unique opportunity to sample nature and see up close what your food looks like and where it comes from. With over 150 species growing in the beautiful hill top farm. A guided tour explains (with expert advice) about the different types of fruit and how long they grow, their origins etc. A tour is a very worthwhile addition to your Penang holiday experience. My wife and I truly loved it and would highly recommend. We combined it the trip to the nearby Butterfly farm and made it a double date. After the tour you get a fruit drink and an opportunity to sample the organic produce of the farm. The farm also sells their own products such as organic coffees, cosmetics, honeys and teas etc. Truly awesome. A nature with some 'extra nature' date was just perfect. Thanks.

Batu Ferringhi Beach

Reviewed By ElsaCL - New York City, United States

Nice beach with clean water, rocks and shady, verdant trees on parts of the shore and all over the distant hill. There are parking spots, a clean toilet for RM 40 cents and showers for RM1. The road is curvy and hilly. Definitely a very pleasant drive.
