Asylum & Bloody Mary are AWESOME rooms! The owners, James & Kim are super sweet and welcoming. Their passion for their business shines through in their rooms! The rooms were challenging and fun! The attention to detail was amazing, especially in Bloody Mary! Definitely a must do if you’re in the area. If you aren’t, you still need to go!

Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts is located an historic Train Depot just a few blocks away from downtown Lake Worth. This 14,000 square foot complex has a Glass Studio that offers live, narrated glass blowing demonstrations with tours of the fine art gallery for the public. The public may take a 30 or 60 minute class where they work with the artist to make 1 piece to take home the next day.

When my grown kids visited last December 2019, my friend offered me her reservation for the Benzaiten Center. I was sure they would say no but they seemed interested. They made floppy glass bowls and could not have had a better experience. So this year, with another visit on the horizon, I made my own reservation for my kids (age 30’s). Because of COVID, they could not “blow” glass. Instead, they made glass flowers which uses more of a shaping technique. It was a huge success. Paperweights was the other choice. This is a great opportunity to create seasonal gifts. The staff are very mindful of COVID safety. You must wear a mask.

This place is a blast! 3 huge ice rinks for public skating, hockey, figure skating, and home of the Tiger Sharks sled hockey. They have a friendly pro shop and snack bars with a wide range of things to eat for everyone. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I play hockey here and attend their skating clinics on sunday nights. Its a lot of fun!
