Great to visit particularly on a balmy Friday evening. There are about 12 different food stalls from various cultures all very reasonably priced at say $15-00. A very cosmopolitan / community feel to the area.With bars upstairs and down it is a great way to spend a couple of hours with plenty of room for kids and or dogs.

I really wanted to write a report because I think all of the staff did fabulous job! We ordered the vegetarian antipasti with meats and my partner ordered a cheese steak burger- although I think he did say it to the waitress in quite an unusual order (might have been steak, cheese thing?). Anyway! We were waiting to catch a show at 8pm and unfortunately they brought both our meals out- at the same time despite being pretty busy which was great- but they had misheard our order and thought we ordered a ‘cheese plate’ instead of a ‘cheese steak burger’. Definitely not the waitresses fault but she was so apologetic and friendly and they quickly made my partner a beautifully presented and very delicious burger and fries :) Cooked perfectly. They handled the situation like pros and I think that needs to be commended. We have eaten here several times and always had a really good experience. The staff are always really friendly and the food is always delicious and great value. Love coming here!

Went to west lakes to see movie was super impressed with the size the ease of getting in to cinema,the price was outstanding,staff were really helpful,will go back instead of going to Marion,the movie was great too

Even during the Covid restrictions, I went for weekly grocery shopping. I was so glad when they installed a sensor to eject a parking ticket when a car approaches.

In what has become our go-to cinema, Event Cinemas Great Union Kilkenny are a popular cinema in Adelaide’s west. Located adjacent to the Armada Arndale Shopping Centre on Torrens Rd, Kilkenny, it shares a huge car park with the shopping centre. Parking is generally available. There are two double glass door entrances into the foyer from the car park and allow for easy disabled access. The foyer is very large having been divided into designated areas – ticketing and food; a seated area with table and chairs; 2 areas with arcade games and of course the general concourse to the 8 cinemas. There is an express lane for web pre-booked tickets and for those not pre-booked a maze to take you the counter. The staff have always been friendly and helpful every time we have been. The cinemas are nominated seating which can be requested at the time of purchasing the tickets. General cinema foods are available including various drinks, popcorn, ice-creams and bagged sweets. The large carpeted concourse is wide enough to take both those going to see and those having seen a movie to pass each other. With the nominated seating each theatre does have a seating map at the door as a guide. The seating is comfortable and the space between seats allows for people to move in front to get to their seats. The cinemas have always been very clean given that there is not that much time between sessions in each cinema. The sound is good with the surround speakers sometimes not as loud as could be – but that is a personal like. There are often Bollywood and Indian titles and also films from across Asia featured. Costings are excellent and even better with Cinebuzz membership. The only negative is that there is no Gold Class at Event Cinemas Great Union Kilkenny Return? Most definitely as this has become our cinema to go to.
