We visited the studio of Martha Jimenez on the Plaza del Carmen in Camaguey, Cuba. The plaza has several of her bronze sculptures on display, including three women talking (includes a fourth chair if you want to join in), a man with a wheelbarrow, a man on a bench reading a newspaper (the model was sitting on the same bench beside his image the day we were there), and two lovers on a bench. The patio behind her studio is a wonderful oasis and has more of her sculptures on display.Definitely worth a visit! Oh, and there's a good lunch place across the street (El Paso).

So happy to have been able to see these works. The young woman who guided us through the gallery showed us the beautiful items and we were very intrigued by the ones with moveable parts.
