Faro de Favaritx

Most beautiful lighthouse! We drove out in early March on a very windy day. Drove within 100 yards of the lighthouse. Easy walk maybe 5 minutes. The lighthouse was not opened, not sure if it ever is open? Well worth the drive from Mahon to see this strikingly beautiful structure.

Cami de Cavalls

Reviewed By Silverisage - Wickham Bishops, United Kingdom

Although the Cami de Cavalls goes on for miles, we have only walked the path from Santo Tomas to Son Bou, as we have always found other things to do while staying on the beautiful island of Menorca. But we do like this trail. It is uneven under foot in places, and we saw people walking in flip flops, but would strongly recommend sturdy footwear for climbing and walking. We have walked in Spring and Autumn. In the spring you can see (and hear) the wonderful Bee-eaters flying over the pine trees that back the coastline near the sand dunes. The terrain at Santo Tomas could be quite difficult if struggling with hip, joints or any injuries.
