The 6 Best Surfing, Windsurfing & Kitesurfing in Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda

November 7, 2021 Sachiko Swiger

Antigua has hundreds of beaches, from the bustling Pigeon Point to the kitesurfing paradise of Jabberwock Beach. It's fun to mix it up—a day spent in a secluded cove, another spent people-watching at a tourist magnet. When you’re tired of sun and sand you can shoot ‘em up at Reservoir Range, where archery and air pistols are a fun way to work out any lingering pre-vacation stress. A tour of the Antigua Distillery is a spirited way to experience a true taste of the island.

40knots - kiteboarding, wing surfing school

Our school offers high-quality kitesurfing and wing foiling in Antigua. We offer tuition with IKO certified instructors (International Kitesurfing Organization) with the latest and safest equipment. We are located in Nonsuch Bay, on the windward shore of Antigua, in the Caribbean, where the trade winds blow strong and constant. The bay is completely closed by the reef and offers a condition of warm and flat water, ideal to learn and progress. Updated equipment, newest teaching methods and power boat assistance make the best combination for your perfect learning experience. The lessons will start from the beach of Green Island, a tiny island windward to Nonsuch bay, with white sand and crystal blue water; a perfect landing/launching area for kites.

One Love Academy | Wakeboard, Waterski and Wakesurf School

I'm Brett and I have a passion for all watersports especially wakeboarding, waterskiing and surfing. I'm from Lincolnshire, UK but have roots in Antigua and Barbuda. I've been a member of the British wakeboarder and waterskier teams for many years. I've been living between the UK and Antigua since 2005 and consider Antigua my second home. I love showing my clients the best this island has to offer, including its turquoise waters and friendly people.
