It is a feast for the eyes to see them in such a large number. Every body visiting the sanctuary will surely enjoy the activities of the elephants- some are playing, some are eating, some are dancing and wow -some are sprinkling soil on their head !

This is a small dam, one of dozens in Kerala, but beautiful. Access (small fee payable) is down a wide path and across the causeway giving great views of the water spraying out to the river below, the generating building and the well laid out and tended gardens are also well visible. There is a shaded paved area serving welcome beverages and snacks where you can again view the dam and overflow. Best come during the week as it is very crowded at weekends.

Vilangan Hills is a hillock located in Adat Panchayat, near Thrissur city of Kerala state in India. The hill gives a panoramic view of Thrissur city and Thrissur Kole Wetlands from the top. The hill was referred as a Oxygen Jar of Thrissur city.
