When most people think of Florida, they immediately think of Disney and all the beaches. However, Florida offers so much more. Trail riding with Abby at Lazy H Ranch was an amazing way to experience parts of Florida that are often forgotten! My 10 year old horse loving daughter and I can't wait to go back! Abby was very personable and knowledgeable, and she went above and beyond to get some great photos of us while riding. The scenery was beautiful. The horses were gentle yet spirited which made for a fun ride. I wish I would have discovered Lazy H Ranch sooner. We will definitely be going back for another ride next time we are in Kissimmee.

We have been there with our grandchildren several times and really enjoyed it. The teacher volunteers are extremely helpful. It is not busy and extremely peaceful. We were able to observe from the safety of a raised boardwalk a lot of wildlife such as alligators, turtles, snakes (cottonmouth, rat snake etc), a variety of wading birds, a horned owl on its nest, wood storks ... something different each time we have visited.

Learned much about the local wilderness and how it was established with a super guide, Daniel Cole. I believe this is a much overlooked opportunity to see a unique activity/site managed by the Nature Conservancy.
