Within the South Mountain Reservation are two falls located about a mile from the entrance off South Orange Avenue. Hemlock Falls are a dual falls which are wonderful to see and photograph.

From the cubbyholes stuffed with papers in his rolltop desk in the gorgeous library, to the mind-boggling machinery, to the music room with a working cylinder-playing phonograph, you get a sense of this driven personality who created modern America. One of the best historical sites.

located in west orange a wonderful place to bring kids up to age 10 you can do a train ride around the zoo in addition to visiting all the activities on the grounds.highly recommend it

This is a great place to take a drive through, stop and admire the view and drive on. It's also a great place to bring a picnic basket and have a tail-gate dinner!

Plenty to do here. Swan rides. Picnic areas. Available parking. Pirate Park is terrific recreation of a pirate ship, with all the nooks and grannies. Sure to keep children occupied. Lots of climbing areas as well.
