we arrived here nice and early in the morning when it was quiet and human free only the birds and a cuckoo could be heard. (only a 10 minute walk from the horse riding centre) the surrounding woods cast beautiful shadows across the giant megalith which made for perfect photos. a tranquil setting. we loved it here.

Sandy, huge and very clean. A lovely, sandy beach with some interesting rock pools (and rock pool life) near the town and harbour.

St.-Michel is a tumulus, a tomb of 12 m high and about120 m of large; on the hill is a little chapelle, also with the name St. Michel, and a large board with many informations of the site of Megaliths region and the 3000 Menhirs, on a field lenght of 4 km. The tumulus itself is a hill with stones and earth, and inside are two funeral rooms "dolméniques" and 20 safes of stones; This founds are exposed in the archaeologique Museums of Carnac and in Vannes. On the top of the tumulus, is a nice view of the Megaliths region , the coast and his islands.
