Bathroom was nasty. not sure if they ever clean the rim of the toilet. Under faucet and soap holder in shower was mold and dirt. Ring in the tub that i could wipe out with a wash cloth. lamp shades has holes in them. Breakfast was hot and full. light fixture in bathroom was rusted and grimy

Reviewed By O3355RCsusanaWe stayed for 2 nights recently - a Friday and Saturday night. It was a huge king room, with pull out couch and easy chair, a desk with a rolling desk chair. It was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I have back problems and requested extra pillows (all of which were great - I also take my own wedge pillow for additional support). The comforter is a bit too insulating. Having forgotten to request a lighter blanket I used the extra sheet for the pull out sofa as a cover. The bed has small, flexible reading lights at each side in addition to the wall lights - very convenient so as not to disturb your spouse when he wants to sleep and you want to read. There is a small bar-type sink by the micro and refrigerator. There were new refrigerators in the vending room - it looks like they are going to be replacing them soon. The breakfast is typical, notthing special, but plentiful. In fact, even tho we (and others) arrived just before serving ended, the hostess brought out extra food to ensure we were fed. My only minor complaints are that the bathroom doesn't have a fan and the bathroom door squealed. We have stayed at all of the hotels at this location - this is by far my favorite.

Pool closed until June
Reviewed By gretchens782The pool and courtyard at this location is closed until June. We came to Georgia to see family for a long weekend, and chose this hotel specifically because it has a pool. Last week two of our grandparents passed away. It has been a very stressful and exhausting week. I booked an extra day at this hotel specifically to rest and use the pool and outdoor space. When we arrive we were told the pool and courtyard were closed until May 30. This would make sense for a location in Vermont where the weather is cold in May, however in Georgia it is common for the temperature to be in the 80s this time of year. Not only was the pool area closed but the manager would not even permit us to take a chair outside and sit in any of the green space on the property. She did however give us permission to sit on the metal bench in the driveway out front. It’s disappointing and bewildering when a person has the ability and resources to offer hospitality and kindness chooses not to.
