Reviewed By Enjoy1962The hotel is industrial decorated with a twist to local industries (Peijnenburg and the former weaving mills). The room was nice and I wonder what the difference is with a standard room after we booked an executive room. Although there was hardly occupancy, they gave us the room directly next to the hallway door. The shower was very small with no cupboard or anything else to store your bathroom equipment. It was ok for our 1-night stay but nothing special.

Quiet hotel, but missing love for the details
Reviewed By Boris83The hotel is actually a Steakhouse, which is renting out a few rooms above the restaurant. Our rooms was really spacious and variedly equipped, but unfortunately the details could not withstand a close look. Some things were broken (like the built in sunblind of the window or a missing lightbulb in one lamp), some items missing (like a hairdryer or a bigger waste basket). The room was not really clean upon our arrival - not dirty, but it was obvious, that the cleaning was not done perfect, which you would (especially in Covid times) expect. The staff was not very welcoming, when we arrived (on the other hand, the other staff at the restaurant was really friendly), but a bad day can happen to anyone. Although the rooms are situated above the restaurant, the noise level was acceptable, but you could hear people talking in the house (so this might bother clairaudient people at night). The Steakhouse itself is really recommendable, had some good steaks there, the surrounding of the hotel could easily get an upgrade, if things were better cleaned up.

Reviewed By Ilse vOmdat mijn moeder op een maandagochtend om 7.00 uur in het St. Annaziekenhuis moest zijn voor een ingreep, en ze nogal ver van Geldrop woont, besloten we er een hotel te boeken. En dan liefst eentje om de hoek. Hotel Brainport ligt weliswaar om de hoek, maar lijkt mij, louter afgaand op telefonisch contact, geen fijne plek om te verblijven. De begroeting aan de telefoon vond ik kort en star. De persoon zelf introduceerde zich slechts bij navraag. Op mijn schriftelijk aangevraagde bevestiging van de boeking kwam geen antwoord, en we konden alleen vóór 18.30 uur, en daarna pas na 22.00 uur inchecken. Dat vonden we toch eigenaardig, voor een hotel. En dit leverde ons bovendien zoveel stress en georganiseer op dat we uiteindelijk gecancelled hebben. Wel jammer, want als uitvalsbasis voor het ziekenhuis was het, met maar 4 minuten lopen, de perfecte plek. We waren bovendien erg benieuwd naar het onderliggende restaurant. Too bad...
