Reviewed By robbers187Stayed here for a few nights , the rooms were clean and it was very calm. The breakfast had alot of variety and the dinners were really tasty and rather inexpensive. Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Reviewed By aross64Enjoyed an evening here as part of a large group. Service was excellend and we were treated to a wonderful menu of krauter soup, fish and then a large buffet all cooked to perfection. I loved the rustic details which matches well with the hotel. There are bedrooms available and it is a popular place for people either eating or staying overnight. I would recommend a visit.

Breakfast was really good and very nice view off the terrace onto the lake. Very good experience and relaxing. Long walks from outside the door if you want to walk or jog.

Reviewed By pauljay47Our one night stay at the Waldgastof Schöning was planned to break up the drive from Denmark back to the Netherlands. The hotel appeared to be located in the middle of nowhere at a junction of secondary roads which carried regular movements of heavy truck traffic - the building’s double glazing was so good that it shut out the large majority of the noise and was not an issue. Booking a hotel online is always a risk when you have nothing but photos to influence your decision but we have invariably been lucky and this occasion was no exception. The hotel’s features smacked of quality and the rooms gave the feeling of a superior product; the price made us realise just what good value we were getting! We took dinner in the hotel and were, once again, pleasantly surprised. The breakfast buffet was basic but sufficient. All in all we were most impressed with the cost of two rooms, dinner and breakfast for three plus good hospitality for a tad over €200! Highly recommended!

Reviewed By SandraHuisman1989Mooie en moderne vakantiewoningen voorzien van heerlijke bedden! We hebben hier geslapen op doorreis naar Denemarken met onze twee honden. Alles ziet er keurig schoon uit en alle ramen zijn voorzien van rolluiken waardoor de slaapkamers lekker donker zijn. Rustige, groene omgeving en genoeg horeca in de buurt. Echt een aanrader!
