I come here every time I am ion Pula, it makes for a nice walk around the castle and there are some excellent views from along the walls

If you walk up to the fort and walk round the back (without going in) you can get a good view of the theatre which is currently closed. It’s worth the effort. I did notice one person scrambling down to get a better view but there’s no need as the birds eye view from the top gives a great sense of the size
