The 6 Best Health/Fitness Clubs & Gyms in Seattle, Washington (WA)

December 28, 2021 Deane Carmody

In Seattle you simply can’t skip the Central Public Library – a modern architectural marvel of glass grids, unusual shapes, and a “book spiral” that climbs four stories. Stroll over to Pike Place Market to visit the original Starbucks and play catch with a fishmonger. In the heart of the city lies Chihuly Garden and Glass, which will dazzle you with its colorful and delicate works. Glide to the top of the Space Needle for panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges and Puget Sound.

Sacred Rain Healing Center

Sacred Rain Healing Center is an all-gender, clothing-optional, indoor/outdoor health spa and massage clinic. We have an outdoor hot spa pool, an outdoor cedar sauna, outdoor cold showers and room to relax and nature-bathe on a private foliage-filled deck. Inside are four treatment rooms, warm showers, a locker room and comfortable places to relax. Licensed practitioners offer massage and acupuncture to nurture both body and mind.

Instead of going up the space needle like the other tourists we went to this spa and sauna for the afternoon. Had massages, tried the naked yoga, and finished with a sauna and spa. Absolutely wonderful. If I lived here I would be here all the time. The yoga was a fun experience as was the clothing optional sauna and spa. The massages were really good. No creepy vibe just really cool people. Middle of winter so no sun bathing going on. Be aware that if you are at all disturbed by naked bodies this is NOT the place for you. No one bothered with a swim suit.
