Hogback Mountain Gift Shop

After enjoying the stunning view of Hogback Mountain we stopped in the gift shop and purchased goodies including homemade mini cider donuts, Vermont Cheese and dark chocolate maple truffles. I saw a food truck parked across the road for Andrej Polish Food and what a treat!!! Stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes and both sauerkraut and potato & onion pierogies!! Thank you Andrej for such a delicious, authentic Polish meal. My Mom said the potato pancakes reminded her of her Busha's! Great views, a charming store and a surprise food truck serving incredible Polish food. What a great visit!

1836 Country Store

Reviewed By TACOB0B

We stopped in here after reading reviews about how fabulous their fudge was. This is way more than a general store, it is a confectionary/gift shop plus cheese off the wheel, hand crafted chocolates, toys, kitchen items, U.S. flags, old stamps, and everything Vermont. The store is actually listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. The staff was super friendly and very patient as we were trying to pick out a few of their fudges but there is a huge selection and it was hard to decide. This place is worth the trip and you don't want to miss it.
