This square should be visited because of the lovely buildings dating back to the 17th century. It was formerly the place where the numerous sailors from the river boats came to dine and stay. A statue of Cyrano de Bergerac (1977) stands in the center.

We stumbled across the Cyrano de Bergerac statue hidden away in a picturesque little square. It is not the only statue in of Cyrano in Bergerac, (the other is further down near a very good ice cream parlour) but, it is the better of the two.
