Saint Patrick's Festival in Dublin City

St. Patrick apparently banished all snakes from the Emerald Isle - but he could have had no idea how grateful the Irish would be, or how hard they would party as a result! St Patrick's Day - March 17th - is celebrated the world over, but really the only place to be is Dublin's Fair City, and the St. Patrick's Festival. The girls are so pretty - as the song goes - and they'll wear green with style to celebrate the full 3 days of this annual festival. Showcasing everything Irish, simply bursting with creative energy and enthusiasm, the St. Patrick's Festival is the event where everyone wants to be, or wish they were, a little bit Irish.

North Pole Experience

Reviewed By Irish_Ninjalito - Blessington, Ireland

Great place to visit for the kids at christmas. Yes its seasonal but its the best Santa experience i feel for the kids at a very reasonable cost. On site parking, small queuing times but amazing staff. From the elves, Characters coming to life, frosty snowball fight to meeting Santa and the bouncy castles and softplay zone after. Well worth booking and visiting.

We travelled down from Dublin for the day on the train , about 55 minutes by train. The markets are about a 10-minute walk from the train station. There is lots to see and do , the kids loved the alpacas and the fire show. We topped it off by seeing Santa just as it was about to get dark. The kids made crafts and met Santa who I have to say was the best Santa we have been to see in a long time.he was Authentic, friendly and the experience wasn't rushed , well-done Wicklow.
