Hidden gems of Yucatan, such as Tulum, Akumal, Chetumal, Chichen Itza and Merida, offer an authentic taste of Mexico. Akumal and more Caribbean-style Chetumal, near the Belize border, deliver delectable white-sand beaches and great snorkelling. Merida, Chichen Itza and Tulum, with their ancient ruins, offer a passage into the Yucatanâs native history. Nature lovers can jungle trek and swim in subterranean sinkholes filled with crystal-clear water. Bike around the ruins and hop between towns in colectivo vans.

Isla Brewing Company is the first & only micro brewery in Isla Mujeres, making & distributing hand crafted beers on the island. Come and enjoy free tastings at the tasting room 10 - 6 everyday, except Sunday.
We stopped at Isla Brewing Company because we enjoy good craft beer and we were not dissapointed. Our favorites were the hibiscus beer and the blonde ale although we did sample their other "flavors". The ginger one was also very good. I am excited that they are opening a beer garden later this year that will allow them to serve beer. Right now you are able to sample and then purchase beer to go (which we did...back to the resort!) We always look forward to their beer selections!

We were staying near here and saw some of their beer in the store. We tried the IPA and were shocked, great beer with hops in Mexico? We looked up the address and had a taxi drive us to the brewery. A short 15 minute drive later we were there and were happy ro see an incredibly friendly staff, great beers, and an amazing food truck right outside. It was well worth the trip and highly recommended if you're anywhere in the Cancun or PDC area. The Habanero was great, IPA and Pale Ale Mexicana were excellent as well. Throughout the rest of our trip we saw this beer featured at restaurants, bars, even in the Cancun airport! If you're a beer lover, do yourself a favor and put a visit to Pescadores on your list.
