Reviewed By ChesphoniThe arrival was unfriendly. Almost unwanted. The owner was very unfriendly and even hostile at the reception. He wanted us to pay for full amount upfront. The rooms were not very clean, no curtains, so no darkness after 5 am in the morning. Therefor no sleep. Matrasses were thin and not nice to lie on. The owner remained disrespectful and whistled when I walked thru the corridor. He checks rooms when you are not there, but there is no cleaning. No fresh towels. After a few days we decided to go to another hotel. No money was refunded (also no refund for the days not occupied). Very unsatisfying and bad hotel, no hospitality and no sense of customer care. Worst hotel ever.

Reviewed By 399luk_rGood price for the service. Another benefit is that the hotel is located directly at the center of the town. For breakfast we had to go to another hotel (same owner as I remember) it wasn't so comfortable. Also there weren't many options for the breakfast.

Reviewed By KingofKarlinThis hotel beat all my expectations! It deserves the top spot in the list of hotels in Pisek. I spent a Saturday night in the home while traveling through Southern Bohemia. The hotel offers free parking on the inside courtyard. The two ladies at the reception were so friendly and helpful. I got checked in in no time. The room was just right for 1 person. Bed was super comfy and I slept very well. They have a variety of pillows so you always find one you like. After a day outside in the cold, I took an extra long shower. This rain shower did wonders. The breakfast was perfect. Good variety of things and the eggs are prepared to order. It was super fresh and tasty. Coffee was strong and full of flavor. I left straight after breakfast. I will certainly come back next time I am in the neighborhood.

Real gem in Southern Bohemia
Reviewed By tonyvaneIt's great place to eat, we didn't stay in the pension , becouse it was full, we had a best hamburgers on our entire trip, location is just like no ather place, there was the world hokey championship on large tv screen , and of course our country Canada was winning it all, lots of local fans, were in smal shock when they found out we are Canadians, but no problems with them, just great.next time will book the room in advance. Staff is super friendly.
