Wildlife Safari is a non-profit AZA accredited zoological park dedicated to conservation, education and research since its inception in 1972. Wildlife Safari is a fun-filled family destination where you can view over 500 animals in their natural habitat roaming freely much as they do in the wild! Visitors to the park drive through a 4.5 mile trek to see animals from Africa, Asia and the America’s. This unique setting offers many opportunities to get up close and personal with animals large and small. The free Safari Village is home to over 100 unique animals, a petting zoo, beautiful gardens, the Gift Shop, Safari Village Café and the White Rhino Event Center.

We really enjoyed driving through Wildlife Safari in our own car, stopping whenever we wanted, and for as long as we wanted. We got to see giraffe, hippos, a rhino, and an ostrich very close -- within 5 or 10 feet. Other animals were farther away. We actually drove through twice since the tickets allow two times through. I would recommend this for a family adventure in nature.

Lookingglass Brewery is a nano brewery located in beautiful Lookingglass, Oregon. We opened our taproom in Winston, OR in April 2016 with 8 beers on tap. The beers we brew are: a blonde ale, two pale ales, a brown ale, two IPA's, a porter, and a raspberry red ale. We also brew seasonal ales occasionally. Stop in for a cold, hand-crafted beer!

Consistent quality across the board with very friendly service. Tasting room is kind of sparse now, but they are moving next door and will be adding a kitchen. Currently you can order food in. We liked everything we tasted and hope they add a lager or pils some time in the future.

I like taking my great and grandchildren here, they love the train and play area then go for a dip in the river and finish up with a picnic lunch under the beautiful "Christmas trees" as they call them. I just wish the dog owners could read the sign.

They were scientists with zero winemaking experience who left secure careers and trekked 2700 miles west, kids in tow, to test a hypothesis. Abacela was an experiment they hoped would answer a question that had puzzled them for years: Why doesn't America produce any fine varietal Tempranillo wine? Earl and Hilda probably weren't the first enophiles to wonder why the great grape of Spain's famous Rioja wines was mysteriously absent from American fine wine. However they were the first to approach the question with scientific rigor, form a hypothesis and then devote their lives to testing it. We stopped at this winery to give it a try and the server was Jeff and he was outstanding. He is knowledgeable, professional and has a great sense of wine and humor.

Was not expecting this much from a small town museum! There collections are from the local area and include mammoth bones, native american artifacts, logger equipment and artifacts. A lot of history from this area and town. Worth the stop!
