A steep but nor too long walk up to the top of hill overlooking the Gota canal and Soderkoping. Cross canal at the lock and then head left along river following track up the hill. Steep in parts but not a long trek. Lovely views from several lookout points along the ridge. There is a new path being constructed which will make access a lot easier.

When passing through Soderkoping we stopped at the church to have a look around. It's a really interesting place, with a bit of information on the history of the place and the architecture of the church is amazing. Especially the clock tower, which is quite unique! If you're passing by and into history and churches, definitely stop for a visit...

Mooi kerkje in Söderkoping. Of is dit dezelfde kerk als 20 meter verderop? Vooral de houten toren die naast de toren staat is bijzonder. Mij ontgaat de betekenis daarvan.

We had visitors over from Ireland, so we took them to Mems Sluss to see the beautiful scenery and watch the boats enter the canal. Really enjoyed seeing it and not a bad restaurant there also
