I know this beach since a child as I used to grow in the area and remember its beauty being almost empty with no big hotels and no hundreds of cars parked around.
Now the only one good fact about this beach is a good starting point to the wilder Beaches to the south. Hope there will never be a road built for the others as I want to keep them as pristine as Butamyata was.

We took several lessons with Iliyana and Yoan. The site is perfect for beginners as there is light on-shore wind almost every day. The teachers are cool, very friendly and speak perfect English. In just a couple of days they taught the kids to climb upwind, make turns and be very comfortable with the rig. Although the sea was pretty rough, it can be managed by the more advanced surfers. There were other water sports on site, like canoeing, SUP and catamaran sailing. Highly recommend for the more sporty kind.
