To be honest we always stop here on the trip south to New Plymouth. Their berries are put to very good use in excellent ice cream and frozen yoghurts. They can also be purchased in trays to take away. Don’t pass it by on SH3!

only a short walk from the road, you will find yourself in a mistycal and magical forrest with an amazing view of the fall. Birds are all arround you, and they follow you! We liked it a lot, especially, as it got very warm with the sun, we were in the shady forrest to stay cool under the trees and still there was enough light to see the fall
