Renegade Winery produces great wine, has a wonderful cafe/restaurant with outdoor seating and even sells microbrews for non wine drinkers. We've been there on three occasions so far. The first was for wine tasting and lunch, the second for an evening concert with an Eagles tribute band and meal and the 3rd for an afternoon with mirror brews, lunch and a rock band. Friendly staff even remembers us by name now. Location is in the gold country in the historical town of Mokelumne Hill. Be sure to check their hours as they are not open daily.

In the historic gold mining town of Mokelumne Hill, Petroglyphe Gallery is located in a building originally constructed in 1858. They feature imaginative contemporary works of art in oil, acrylic, watercolor, glass, ceramic, copper, and present drypoint etchings and jewelry.
