Very well guided and informative tour. An easy walk for most other than the stairs at the halfway point if you are elderly however they have a bench at the base of the stairs where you can sit and wait for your group to come back down and continue the tour. I was amazed at the size of the cave once you got inside. The concert hall and chandelier were pretty cool. I would like to go back for a concert and more in depth tour. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Ayur Rasayana at the Isha Rejuvenation center in McMinnville which is a 2 1/2 day residential program focused on wellbeing. The program included mediation practices, massage therapies, delicious wholesome foods and communing with nature. It was an intense yet peaceful and relaxing program conducted in a beautiful setting. At the end of the program I felt re-energized, which lasted days after I returned home. I was taught easy to follow yoga/mediation practices that I could take home with me and continue to practice on my own. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to restart their health, looking to start a yoga/mediation practice for wellbeing or looking to deepen any yoga practices they might have.

Falcon Rest Mansion & Gardens

Falcon Rest is the Victorian mansion where history is fun. Built in 1896 by Gorilla Pants manufacturer Clay Faulkner, it's been called "Tennessee's Biltmore" by PBS. Some say it's presided over by a friendly ghost. Open daily year round for guided tours, tea room lunches, Victorian Gift Shop, and history-based entertainment and meals for group tours.

I have know about the Mansion and it's history for many years being a life long resident of McMinnville but only recently did I have the pleasure of visiting the Mansion for supper. The food was excellent and the surroundings were beautiful and tasteful, I had no idea that such a nice place existed in my home town. In addition to the great meal and service, I have heard for years that the Mansion is haunted which only adds to the legend of the old Faultner Springs Hospital.

We loved sitting on the deck of Smooth Rapids eating our cheeseburger and Turkey burger and looking at the river. Their menu is burgers, sandwiches and appetizers. All was good. The service was great and we didn't have to wait long for our burgers.

This is a fun place to walk back through time, or just look around at all of the interesting items for sale. I purchased a needlework art piece and gave it to my daughter for her children to enjoy. Very friendly, helpful staff!
