Lygia (Greek: Λυγιά) is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Vartholomio, Elis, Greece. Its population in 2011 was 286 for the village and 787 for the community, which includes the villages Arkoudi, Glyfa, Ioniki and Paralia. Lygia is situated in the low hills of the southern part of the Kyllini peninsula, 3 km from the Ionian Sea. It is 4 km southeast of Kastro, 4 km east of Loutra Kyllinis and 4 km west of Vartholomio.

Really don’t know where to begin as can’t big up this place enough and all because of the amazing owner Spiro. We only went here because of all the reviews on trip advisor and each review does nothing but praise Spiro and quite rightly so. He makes you feel so welcome as soon as you arrive nothing is too much for him . We visited every evening sometimes over staying our welcome! We met his family and Dennise his wife is a fantastic cook and supplies the mezzes which Spiro serves with your drinks . He introduced us to many of the locals that use the bar and we started the holiday as bar owner and tourists and we left as firm friends , he is one amazing guy who owns a fantastic bar .

In 2017 I noticed that from Perigiali to Agios Nikitas there are no watersports even though the conditions are ideal. I decided to start my watersports business right in the middle, in Ligia Village. I chose a quiet beach of the area, Paradisos Beach. In this way, guests from the North of the Island can visit us without having to drive too far. I am Panos Belegrinos and I am a graduate of the Physical Education Academy with postgraduate studies in water skiing, sailing, lifeguard swimming. I started my water sports business in Vasiliki Lefkada in 1997 and this year I moved to Ligia. While always having safety as our guidance, we would like to welcome you to have fun and enjoy your favorite sports with the same beloved team at a brand new location full of fresh ideas.
