The Givatayim Observatory is the oldest observatory in Israel, and serves as the main base for amateur astronomers in Israel. The observatory holds a weekly public tour every Thursday at 19:30. The tour includes a basic lecture, an observation through our telescopes, and a planetarium show. These tours are guided in Hebrew, but events in English are also available for groups (contact our office for more information).

The mall is quite big and contains coffee shops, restaurants a food court, a cinema and many shops. Behind it there is a very nice park where you can hang out.
