De Brielmeersen Urban Recreation Park

We saw plenty of animals, not all special, but cute anyway. It's a pity that half of the times there is no explanation about what it is (we googled a while to find out we were looking at an emu, no mixture of a peacock and an ostrich).
The maze is very cool! I actually got lost and stayed in there for 15 minutes.
For the kids, there is a big playground with all kinds of stuff. Parents can drink something in the cafetaria.

Museum of Deinze and the Leie Region

Reviewed By RomkaN - Ghent, Belgium

Not that well known, and probably a bit off course from the main touristic cities, still this museum is worth a visit if you're interested in Belgian art (especially from mid 19th to mid 20th century). A lot of the Belgian Impressionist and Expressionist artists on display here have resided and worked (even if shortly) in this region, which adds extra value to this collection. Aside from the art, there is also a small exhibition of archeological artefacts and old daily life items which are related to the history of Deinze and the general area around it.
