We visited out of season - between Xmas and New Year. The majority of the park was closed, due to the winter and snow. Most of the woodland walks were closed due to snow and ice but still managed a good walk with our child and our dog. We loved the indoor optical light areas, and the butterfly house was nice too.
The tickets was reasonably priced for the winter season.
Staff were very friendly and kind.

Having driven passed this golf course dozens of times I though it time to actually play on it. A friend and I decided on 9 holes and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The course was in surprisingly good condition and there are a number of really challenging and attractive holes.
Ruth, the lady in the clubhouse, was very welcoming and supplied us with freshly made filled rolls and good chat.

The Old Packhorse Bridge

Reviewed By craigluscar - Dunfermline, United Kingdom

It is passing strange that the most iconic bridge does not have a mention on Trip advisor ,yes there is a photo of it on the Carrbridge site but it does not seem to be recognised .
The bridge was built in 1717 and is the oldest bridge in Scotland built for transferring goods around Bridadier Grants estate and also to transfer coffins to the nearby Church on the other side of the fast flowing Dulnain River. It was often referred to as the Coffin Bridge . Parts of the bridge were swept away in floods in the mid 1800s and all that remains is the single arch. It is a magnet for tourists and it can be quite busy with busloads jostling for a photograph . The bridge is well known around the world and is particularly attractive during times of floodwater roaring underneath or in winter with a covering of snow it is used for many Christmas scenes

Carrbridge Pony Trekking

Reviewed By Loveshorseriding - Moray, United Kingdom

Great Western themed yard and stalls looks impressive. Nice clean smart yard with excellent tack and new Western saddles. Selection of well looked ponies. Good condition hats supplied. Some roadwork before you reach moorland, pretty ride through pleasant forest tracks. If you are an inexperienced rider or have not ridden for some time you will have a great time. If you are a good rider this is not the best place for you.
