So much adventure and outstanding guides! I wish I could remember their names from our guides to the paparazzi for all the amazing pictures they took for our memories these guys are awesome! Went to las hornillas recently where we took horses up a mountain, crossed suspension bridge with views of Waterfalls and hiked up to be in the midst of nature
Then returned from the hike, went into a sauna, putting volcanic mud on our bodies
There was volcanic activity to explore in the area
Was a great day and definitely worth it

A hidden gem wildlife reserve, about 30 mins drive from the hotels and resorts near Liberia. Take route 1 inter Americana and exit at Pijije.
Ensure to download a map of the reserve beforehand, we got lost as the footpaths are not always marked. So it's more the adventurous type of traveller.
BRing PLENTY of drinking water, and insect repellent.

This entire day was awesome! We started out rappelling down Waterfalls and trekking through Canyons. It was so much fun that I wished we could have kept going. They then gave us breakfast before we headed out for white water rafting. We had a great time going through the rapids. When we hit a smooth part of the river, they let us all jump out of the boats and float for a while to cool off. When we were done with that, we got lunch. This tour does require a decent level of physical fitness and attracts families with pre-teens/teenagers. We have two teenagers ourselves, so that was great for us. We were very friendly with the other families by the end.

Tuve la oportunidad de visitar el parque cuando fui a tomar algunas fotografías, al final del camino en el parque Marlon ofrece los servicios de Guía sobre el Río lo cual es una gran experiencia.
Yo y otras personas tuvimos suerte de encontrar el servicio al final del recorrido porque en la entrada del parque no ofrecían información.
Para mi gusto fue económico y definitivamente necesario para aprovechar la visita a Palo Verde. Volveré!!
