It is located about 8 miles (13 km) west of the city limits of Detroit and 8 miles (13 km) east of the city limits of Ann Arbor. The Canton Public Library connects your community. Canton Public Library serves more than 90,000 residents of Canton Township in western Wayne County, Michigan. We are a member of TLN and Metro Net. Our director is Eva Davis. CPL is the busiest single-branch library in the state, circulating 300,000+ items over 1.7 million times [in 2012]. Our 53,500 square foot facility provides space for our 77%-resident patron population of more than 85,818 cardholders. The library's computers are open for public use-no time limit or library card required, the building has Wi-Fi throughout. Copy/print/scanners are available, as well as a self-assist paid fax. We also have a vending machine area with drinks and snacks, an ATM, and public restrooms. Food and drink is allowed in the library.

We were very impressed with the super comfortable, state of the art seats that recline and can be heated. My wife actually used the heating feature. It appears that every seat affords a unobstructed view of the screen because of the stadium seating. Our family group just took in a movie while others feasted on popcorn, pizzas and alcoholic drinks. Something for everybody here.

I am a runner and I also have 3 young kids. We frequent this park a lot. My kids also have soccer here during the spring and fall. They have a splash pad in the summer. A nice track to walk around. Pond that you can fish in. Summer concerts. Nice wood playground. Overall an excellent place to spend time and enjoy the outdoors.
