I just spent a great week skiing in La Plagne where I had 5 days of group lessons with Daniel. He was an amazing instructor who helped me further develop my skiing abilities on many different slopes and under varied conditions and he knew the area very well. He is fun too! At the same time my kids were in classes with Nans and Manu and loved it too, so a super week all around, thank you Oxygen!

Reflex Ski School

We had an amazing week with Christophe, patient, calm, funny and hugely positive (even when I was getting annoyed with myself). We booked 5 days of 2/3 hours with Christophe taking myself from novice to actually being able to ski and run down blues with ease by the end of it. Taking my partner from a nervous intermediate to comfortably running down reds. Throughout every session Christophe was great fun to be around, he completely understood what we both needed to do and how to push us on. Without doubt the best thing we could have done, I would happily go back to La Plagne to have more lessons with Christophe to take us from our varying intermediate levels onto advanced (hopefully!)

He was patient, calm and also enthusiastic and inspirational! Thank you Craig- we will return next year! The Smiths and the Bradshaws ????

La Plagne Ski Resort

Perched on the Paradiski area (425 km of runs!) shared with Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry, the playground offered by La Plagne in winter, between forests and the glacier (1 250 m – 3 250 m), is one of the biggest and most varied in the world. 70% of its immense and spectacular territory is located above 2 000 m. which guarantees excellent snow cover from December to April and breathtaking views across the French Alps and stunning Mont Blanc. La Plagne is the only place in Europe with an ice-climbing tower and the unique bobsleigh run in France. With its 11 original and complementary resorts, all represented by the same red woolly hat, La Plagne will amaze you with the variety and quality of the accommodation and facilities dedicated to skiing that complete a vast catalogue of emblematic events and after-ski activities : XXL sledge run, zip wires, outdoor pools and spas… Come and live unique experiences for an UNFORGETTABLE holiday!

Been to La Plagne many times. Less crowded than some of the other big resorts, with skiing for every standard. Some nice traditional villages low down and the added bonus of glacier skiing. Lots of cruising blue runs and some tough black runs. Excellent off piste with a guide. The link to the glacier needs to be modernised, otherwise queuing is never too bad, apart from in the main holidays. The link to Les Arcs makes this a huge area. Plenty to do on bad weather days, with the outdoor pool and Escape Rooms in Bellecote, the Olympic Bobsleigh and a very nice cinema in Plagne Centre. Lots of bars and restaurants in the various parts of the resort, with more reasonable prices than the other Tarentaise ski areas.
