When this farmhouse was acquired as a museum in 1938 the last inhabitant was still living in the house. She died in 1949, so the house stands exactly like it did when she was still living in the house. That makes the visit so powerful because you can really see how someone was still living less than 70 years ago. We biked there which was a very nice trip. You cannot buy food or beverages there, but there are restrooms.

We truly enjoyed our visit here. A piece of proud Danish history here. Well worth your time. No entry fee. Superb giftshop for you to visit to support the local traditions. This place is even a UNESCO World Heritage site

You get to see an old seaweed house on the inside. The entrance is free. From here you can walk a route where you see a lot of seaweed houses.
