Denver (/ˈdɛnvər/), officially the City and County of Denver, is the capital and most populous municipality of the U.S. state of Colorado. Denver is in the South Platte River Valley on the western edge of the High Plains just east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The Denver downtown district is immediately east of the confluence of Cherry Creek with the South Platte River, approximately 12 mi (19 km) east of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Denver is nicknamed the Mile High City because its official elevation is exactly one mile (5280 feet or 1609.3 meters) above sea level, making it the highest major city in the United States. The 105th meridian west of Greenwich, the longitudinal reference for the Mountain Time Zone, passes directly through Denver Union Station.

German Trading Post

As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted like long lost friends. The entire place was very well organized with wide, clear main aisles and neat, easy to move around in booths. You can find glassware, jewelry, kitchenware, china, vintage holiday items, toys, tools, lighting, baskets, cameras, vintage clothes, pottery, rustic and some very unique items. I found myself looking forward to leaving one booth and going to the next just to see what was in it. I ended up buying several small items I didn't even know I needed (one of these days I will run out of room in the house to keep putting the fun collectibles I keep buying).

I found Burkholder's Fabrics through an on-line search and they had just the particular fabric (Robert Kaufman velveteen) in the color and yardage I needed and for a better price than anyone else on the web. Drove out from Philly to pick up the fabric and see the store - very impressive.
