Awesome place to visit for everyone to enjoy during the summer months in New Brunswick. Had a great time taking a boat tour (times are listed so worth checking these). There is a safe splash zone for young children and fantastic ice cream cones at the nearby store. Worth noting that there are special out door events and live entertainment taking place in the evening and Sundays! Worth checking with the tourist office to make sure if the times and dates as these are weather permitting A really enjoyable afternoon enjoyed by all the family.

Located in the southern part of the province of New Brunswick, Port Saint John is Canada’s third largest port by volume and has a diverse cargo base, handling over 28 million metric tonnes of cargo annually, including dry and liquid bulks, break bulk, and containers. Port Saint John is the fourth largest cruise port in Canada and a major port of call on the Canada New England itinerary. Follow the recreational trail Harbour Passage around the inner harbour to see the action of the working port.
Everything was very smooth to disembark and embark the ship. There is also a lengthy boardwalk and a farmers market right near the piers.

Pointe du Chêne wharf is a great experience for everyone. There is an $3 entry fee that gives you access for the day. Great location to spend an afternoon, you can watch the lobster Fishermans load their traps and see their catches (if lobster season is on), kids can jump off the wharf near the lighthouse, take pictures by the light house, eat an ice cream, walk on the beach...lots to do! Sometimes the Coast Guards or RCMP's will have their vessel ships parked there.
