Excellent! My two children, ages 9 and 11, and I thoroughly enjoyed this! I was at first disappointed the moon was nearly full, but we still got in plenty of star and planet gazing AND got to see the moon and its rough surface up close! Our guide was passionate about his profession and deeply knowledgeable. I highly recommend it. Be sure to pack warmer clothes for this, it is worth it!

The location is like to stay in a sci-fi movie, and indeed many movies were filmed here. The sky was probably the best ever in my life, and the via lattea was perfectly above us. The guide was friendly, speaking perfect English, and showed us many many stars and constellation. We used telescope to see planets such as jupiter and saturn. The temperature was quite low, probably around 10-15 C, but in case of need the guide has many thermal jackets. However I had pile and light jacket and was comfortable. During the experience I had plenty of time to place the reflex camera con the ground (tripod suggest) and take amazing pictures of the sky, and of the beautiful skyline. Absolutely beautiful and strongly suggested if you are in tenerife

I think anyone who comes to Tenerife has to do this tour. Not only is it an incredible experience, it was also incredible value. The tour starts with a trip around Teide National Park. The volcanic landscape will blow you away. You then take a stop to see the sunset, also indescribably beautiful to see above the clouds at almost 2000 metres (with complementary cava). The meal far exceeded our expectations. It was a complete 3 course meal with any drinks you wanted included. The restaurant was very cosy with friendly staff. Of course the pinnacle of the trip is the stargazing and telescope. Personally I've never seen anything comparable and I think everyone must see the stars with this kind of clarity at least once in their life. Our guide Pepe did a great job of explaining everything with a good sense of humour along the way. One piece of advice, bring warm clothes. As I mentioned you spend a lot of the tour almost 2000m up so things get very chilly, especially once the sun sets. The guys hand out blankets but you'll be thankful for every layer of clothing. I'd recommend this tour to anyone and definitely do it myself again.
