We were visiting in the area and discovered a hiking trail by Stone Mill Spring. If possible, we enjoyed the easy (stony) trail more than our grandson! The Spring bubbled into a pond like area and then "rivers" down to the Big Piney River. People were fishing (catch and release season) for small fish and several people had their dogs (on a leash). We were thrilled by the antics of an apparently well know armadillo. There was a bathroom available. We noticed more trails that looked less traveled & quite steep.

Lion's Club Park has a wonderful playground area for children. In fact they have several different areas. There are also nice places to eat a picnic lunch. There is a lake that is very nice with a fountain in the center. Excellent photo opportunities as well!
