It is designed for the apitourism activities where the visitors can see the life of bees as close as possible and at the same time away from them enough to avoid stings. We walked the trail from Kobarid to this site several times while we stayed in this area, and enjoyed it each time. I think we were fortunate to be able to go when it was not crowded, as the walk to the waterfall through the wooded path were scenic, peaceful, and quiet, and as enjoyable as the short visit to the falls themselves. There is a 4 euro entrance fee for adults, less for children, and after talking to the very pleasant people working the small booth, it seemed reasonable to help maintain the site -- i.e. the metal bridges built to replace the old slippery stone ones. It's a unusual waterfall as the water streams down through a crack in the rock surface above to a crystal pool below.
