Artestruz Mallorca

A guide will teach you amazing facts about these ancient birds, in a safe and respectful environment. Tours are interesting, fun and very surprising. If you prefer not to go for a guided tour, you are welcome to meet the ostriches by yourself. Please check website for current prices and timetables.

This place is quite unique. It is a bit rough around the edges but for us this only added to the charm. The owners are very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. If they got tired of answering my children’s many, many questions it didn’t show! We had a fabulous time learning all sorts of interesting facts and were lucky enough to come home with an ostrich egg thanks to a very kind Italian family. This has gone to school so we can share the ostrich love with our friends in Newcastle!

Platja d'es Trenc

This large, undeveloped stretch of beach is a very popular destination - especially on the weekends.

I never thought so clear and beautiful waters/beaches exist in the Mediterranean until I got to Es Trenc. This place is beyond beautiful and the best part is that the beach is long (including a nudist beach halfway) that you can easily find a spot where you can enjoy the beauty and quiet of the place. The water is incredibly blue and clean, as well as the sandy beach which is perfectly well kept. There are not much bar/restaurant/toilet options if you go further away from the parking areas, but its maximum 10-15mins walk... I loved every minute spent here and I surely will return if I am back to Mallorca. RECOMMEND!

Sa Canova Beach

No five star resorts, just sand, sea and surf: this lovely white sand beach has remained untouched by developers.

Playa de Sa Rapita

We had our summer holiday in Majorca and this was our favourite beach. Lovely cool white sand, plenty of loungers and umbrellas. There is a cafe and restaurant and so long as you buy something you can use the toilets for free. There is quite a bit of sea weed as you step into the sea but then you come to clear blue water after a few steps. The umbrellas/ 2xloungers combo costs 20euro for the whole day. There are buses to and from the beach but they are hourly and the last bus is at 19.05 so most people drive and there is plenty of parking. Enjoy!
