Growing up in Merced, I recall watching my father, an attorney, try cases in this very courthouse. It has been amazingly preserved and is a treasure to visit.

Castle AFB belonged to the Strategic Air Command so their collection is heavy on bomber type aircraft, including very rare types like the RB36 and B58 'Hustler'.

The Merced Multicultural Arts Center (MAC) is another of the hidden gems of Merced. Mr. Colton Dennis and his team have created a hub of events for the residents of Merced and the surrounding area. Highquality musicals, plays and concerts can be found weekly. Art shows and exhibits are fun year round. Dance, ballent and ukulele groups among others use the facility for practice. On a rainy day, stop by and even bring the kids as often time there are speical events for the kids too.
