After experiencing the National "Museum" of Prague's abysmal staffing, layout, modern art nonsense and utter lack of exhibits, this hidden gem was genuinely worth the money. It's a real museum with hundreds if not thousands of artifacts. Great layout which works chronologically from prehistory to modern day Czech history. All the rooms are really well constructed and there is just so much to see. They also play fitting music in some rooms which really adds to the atmosphere but doesn't get in the way of reading. Staff were also quiet and helpful. When I think of museum I think of places like The British Museum and the Ashmolean... This was like those in every way, just a little smaller. Avoid the scam that is the National Museum of Prague and its connected buildings and go for this instead. I have no idea why this museum is hidden when it's literally the only one worth visiting.
