In Vienna, the coffee house isn’t just a hangout: it’s an institution. Lingering over a newspaper with a pastry and a strong espresso drink is, according to UNESCO, officially a Viennese cultural pastime. Walk off your slice of Sachertorte with a self-guided tour of the city’s stunning traditional, Secessionist, and modern architecture, such as the Imperial Palace, the State Opera House, the Kirche am Steinhof, or the Kunsthistorisches Museum, an exercise in ornate geometry.

I loved walking down Vienna’s old cobble stone streets, and listening to Lisa’s scary stories often with unexpected endings. Spooky details based on historical cases. “If death were a person he/she would be Viennese”.

The bus left on time, the tour guide was very informative and polite! The trip in Halstatt was well planned and the boat tour was a wonderful way to see the city in the most spectacular way possible! The bus was comfortable and the time off on the city by ourselves was a wonderful way to visit this small city in our own pace. It's a great way to visit Halstatt in a day trip with lots of background historical information on the city!!

The guide was very friendly and answered all of the tour's questions. She was very knowledgeable about Bratislava's history and recommended some traditional food as well as a few local cafes and restaurants (we followed her guide and we loved the food, of course). The driver was also outgoing and seemed interested in Malta's culture, cuisine and lifestyle. We also had a change to stop by the palace on the other side of the road to see the beauty of Bratislava from a panoramic vantage point. I recommend spending 20-25 minutes here to take some photos. Overall I highly recommend this day trip if you have a free day in Vienna. You will probably feel quite tired after the excursion, so you can ask the driver to drop you by Stadpark for a superb end to your day. FYI: The driver will pick you up at your accomodation and will drop you off wherever you want in Vienna (which is a bonus). Thank you to the organizers and all of the staff involved!

5. Florian's movie Cult Tour

Secession, Friedrichstraße 12, 1010 Wien, Austria Vienna Cult Tour

Join me for the sights of Vienna. Beginning with the secession, we follow Alain Delon, "Scorpio the Killer", into what was then Europe's largest burrow. They learn how angry Viennese motorists get into a film scene with Burt Lancaster. Visit with me the Vienna State Opera and "watch" how Tom Cruise in "Mission Impossible V" escaped the cops on the roof. Learn at the Vienna Hofburg where and how it was rebuilt for the "3 musketeers" to the castle Versaille. Marvel at the most expensive prop ever. Allow me to take you to hidden corners that still look the same today. Listen to the anecdotes and exciting stories. I offer you an exciting walk behind the scenes of Vienna.

We joined a group walking tour led by Florian. The tour was very informative & Florian has great knowledge of the history of the city. Vienna is one of the most historically beautiful cities I've visited. The buildings are amazing & not too many were destroyed in the war as Hitler spent time here & had his SA & SS headquartered here for a while. We saw the building where Hitler made his famous speech from the centre top balcony /alcove of the Town Hall. The locals never use it & it is a 'taboo' place. When the Austrian President makes a speech, a temporary structure is built at the front - no-one wants to ever step onto the area where Hitler made the speech. The Austrians also never want the future generations to forget what happened as they never want it to be repeated - so, therefore, no one is to forget. There were many parts of the city I would not have known about if I hadn't taken the tour.
