Really nice place&people
Reviewed By 636sareaWe had stayed 2 nights in playa caleton in Hostal El Legendario. We went there spontaneously and luckily found a room and had the best moments in our Cuba tour:) Arnoldo and Ivette were so nice. We had so much fun during our stay. The food was very delicious! And also the local cigar was the best we have ever smoked!! Thanks a lot guys! :)

Reviewed By bbinntravelThis casa offered by far the best service! Very welcomeing and friendly people, everything done with a lot of heart. We've booked a guide with the casa and it worke d out perfectly. Just gave 4* at the location But only because its not right on the beach. The beautiful rooftop-terrasse with great views makes up for it. How was the food? The food we had was amazing! Fresh fish and plenty of it all. Everything was just perfectly cooked. How was the room? Beautiful room, all new, very comfortable, great shower and very quiet. Other Comments The owner makes you feel very welcome and does everything to make you comfortable. No problem to sit and read on theire terrasse for hours and just enjoy the busteling life on the street just below.

owner trying to rip you off
Reviewed By ulysse5LondonTerrible owners trying to rip you off while checking out. The not so ameanable landlady bluntly tried to overcharge us despite the poor service offered. We were in three cramped windowless rooms next to the entrance and adjacent to the cuisine. Nobody is smiling in this place probably due to the behavior of the landlady! The diner was below average. We had frozen fish despite their claim of offering fresh fish. The lonely Planet recommendation and some trip advisor review are really surprising. There are many more real casas (this is a hostal) right on the beach ...
