We’re from New Mexico and went into Palomas for lunch and some shopping at The Pink Store. Park on the American side for $5 and walk in. Bring your passport. We ate lunch at El Patron. The food and service was great and they had a great bakery attached to it. We walked to The Pink Store and did some shopping. Great store, great service. We also walked through town and went to the grocery store and stocked up on fresh homemade tortillas. We felt very safe in town. The people were friendly. We paid in American dollars and were given change in American dollars. Highly recommend. Great day trip.
