Short Hills Provincial Park

First and foremost, it's wrongly named. There is nothing short about some of the hills. Trail markings are inadequate, as is the signage. Trail distances are shown as "as the crow flies", not as if the crow is walking, carrying a pack. Some very challenging terrain. Loved it.

Weekends can get very busy when the weather is nice . Try to come during the week to avoid this . Beautiful spring fed pond and a few relatively easy hiking trails vary in length from about 20 minutes to 45 minutes .Nice place to spend a couple hours.
