Reviewed By taka558昼間は多少暑かったけど、カラッとしていたから過ごしやすかったです。 朝晩は涼しく、体感だと15度ぐらいじゃないだろうか。 エアコンがなくてもぐっすり眠れました。 プールもあったしコテージでBBQも楽しめたので大満足です。

Old Hotel Resort but Great Hospitality
Reviewed By Zues1020Yes its is old and not modern style building. Some may feel this hotel resort may scary with its surrounded but for me this is one of the best resort that you may enjoy to bring back the memory of old time Japan style architecture, Feeling of staying in onsen resort surrounded by nature, and typically Japanese 80s style of tourism. Only 1 night stay but we had a great moment here. The room in good condition and cozy for 1 or 2 night stay. huge lobby area for big group check-in. Thee restaurant (for Breakfast was great-many choices and fresh hot food served in Japanese style. The most surprising was the dinner that we had here. It was very nice and arrange in beautiful tatami style + with moachi demonstration to experience by everyone. This is the best about Misugi when they can attract tourist like us to know more the local cultural. Wear your Yukata before dinner - that my suggestion as you may feel their hospitality here. great Onsen to enjoy and divided both men and women. Its huge area to enjoy onsen and few type of water temperature to enjoy. Spacious enough shops next to the lobby was great too. Local snacks and traditional used kimono and yukata at affordable price may attract you to enjoy great bargain here. I personally agree this resort to have this kind of facilities and you dont have to travel far for convenience. I hope Misugi may ignored all commentary that asked them to refurbish to modern style accommodation wholly as the essence of that era are freshly can be feel inside there. Some area can be refurbish or renovate but not all.

It was like my home away from home.
Reviewed By zuboraThe cottage was actually booked, so we requested to stay in the spare room and I'm so glad we did. It was like staying with relatives, only without any of the fuss. :) You might shy away from staying in spare room as it's technically a part of the house, but it felt very private to us and we even had our own bathroom. It was already dark when we headed toward Fu-sha, and we thought we got lost on the way, so I gave Kobayashi-san a call to ask for directions. In perfectly understandable English she asked me to describe where we were and then insisted on coming to pick us up. When we got to her house, she showed us an immaculate and beautifully decorated room - our futons had also already been prepared and laid out for us. She brought us some refreshments right away and then sat down with us to chat and ask if we had any questions or if she could help with any arrangements during our stay in Nikko. When I told her that we were headed up to Lake Chuzenji, she produced a hand-drawn map that provided detailed directions and times it would take for us to travel between the most famous landmarks. And although on her website it states very clearly that no food is provided, she asked what time we would be leaving and the next morning she produced a lovely, if simple, breakfast to help us on our way. She also insisted on taking us to the bus stop (even though it wasn't very far away), and made sure that we knew which bus to take before leaving us. During our 1 month trip to Japan, we stayed at a lot of hotels. Fu-sha is not a hotel. It was much more like our home away from home. I'm sure Kobayashi-san will make everyone who stays with her feel just as welcome. And if you're planning on staying the night in Nikko, I can't recommend Fu-sha enough.
